XOOPS : Clocked Works Project has been started.
Clocked Works is a module on XOOPS, XOOPS Cube, and ImpressCMS. It has a ClockedWorks API for other modules. It can be operate at arbitrary time.

In drupal, there is cron.php, and hook_cron is executed with drupal_cron_run. It becomes it by building in this ClockedWorks module so that another module may use an equal function though there is no cron operation in a present XOOPS core.
