Download list when trying to backup

Hello,
What does it mean when I get the following after selecting a database backup (table structure and data) as a gzip?

0xdb20081111141400.sql.gz 131071lines 1238314bytes
1xdb20081111141400-1.sql.gz 71328lines 839736bytes
Purge all download files

It looks like the backup is split into two files, is that correct? If so, is this because the server can't handle the backup size? This is odd because it backs up fine on another server, same XOOPS and Backpack versions (different db and php).

XOOPS 2.2.4
Backpack 0.93
PHP 4.4.8
Mysql Client API vs 5.0.16
